DCMT is a first college in Fire and Safety management. DCMT aims to mobilize world class education and generate resources for providing and supporting quality education for all. The DCMT has an intensive academic environment with the mission to prepare students with capacities and creativity to have new thoughts, horizons, and analytical capabilities to enable them to achieve the objectives of society and also make their own dreams come true.
Our institution being one of the diploma colleges with 100% placement, always aims at enriching the students by providing them with continuous opportunities to explore more. The placement cell organize meetings and monitors the students in personality development and Communication Skills. On an average, every year 95% of our students are well placed in various industries and 5% of our students continue higher studies. 100% placement has been achieved during the academic year of 2019-2020.
DCMT consists of great team of experts who have many years of experience in the field of fire safety training. To expose fire engineering and safety management students to new technologies and practical aspects associated with it, DCMT is arranging practical and training programs apart from curriculum. DCMT also arranges various technical visits at high risk places like Aurangabad Airport,Hotels,Mall,Factory. etc. Students are exposed to all fire Equipments & Appliances, Smoke Heat & Fire Alarm Systems, Care and Maintenance of Fire Extinguisher, Testing & Installation of Fire Protection system etc.

The curriculum of DCMT is designed with regular practical and technical visits. Students are regularly exposed to various fire fighting appliances and equipments. To cater the needs of the outstation students separate hired hostels and quality mess facilities for boys and girls are provided at reasonable rates.

आपको यह सूचित करते हुए हर्ष का अनुभव हो रहा है कि दून कॉलेज ऑफ मैनेजमेंट एण्ड टैक्नोलॉजी देहरादून में इंडस्ट्रियल सेफ्टी और फायर ( सुरक्षा प्रबंधन ) से संबंधित एक वर्षीय डिप्लोमा एवं डिग्री संचालित हो रहा है। तीव्र औद्योगिक क्रांति के इस दौर में औद्योगिक अग्नि सुरक्षा और सेफ्टी के विषय में जानना बहुत जरूरी है। आज घर हो या ऑफिस, स्कूल हो या शॉपिंग मॉल, छोटे उद्योग हो या बड़े तथा सरकारी व गैर सरकारी संस्थानो में सभी जगह अग्नि सुरक्षा उपकरणों का प्रयोग और जानकारी रखने की बहुत आवश्यकता है। इस फील्ड में प्रवेश के लिये न्यूनतम शैक्षिक योग्यता 10वीं और 12वीं है परन्तु यदि छात्र स्नातक है तो उन्हें वीरयता क्रम में उन्हें ऊपर रखा जाता है इसके अलावा इंजीनियरिंग सटिंफिकेट अथवा बैकग्रांउड वाले छात्रों को भी प्रमुखता दी जाती है। आप अपनी योग्यता के अनुसार आई.टी.आई, पॉलीटेक्निक या बीटेक और एम.बी.ए, के बाद भी इस कोर्स को कर सकते हैं। और एक अच्छी नौकरी और एक अच्छा वेतन प्राप्त कर सकते है। आप इस कोर्स को डिसटेन्स के माध्यम से या नौकरी के साथ-साथ भी कर सकते है।
